Winter's Tale を訳したいと思っています。
Each morning I stand in the new-fallen snow and watch as the world wakes around me.
Today,a great owl soars high overhead,a soft streak of white in the sky.
While far down below,in the warmth of a tree,a family of mice greets the day with a yawn and a stretch.
Off in the distance the foxes emerge, magnificent in their new winter coats.
The snow shivers off a nearby bush as a rabbit leaps out with something for me.
Over by the ridge, the old bear reflects on the dancing, cold rush of the river.
The water explodes in a fresh burst of silver,as breakfast escapes in a flash.
Out in the meadow,a family of deer leap and play in the blanket of snow.
While up in the trees the chattering squirrels stock up on their favorite treats.
I wave my bright scarf and tip my hat to the moose as he wades through the swamp.
Then, just round the bend,a woodpile grows fat from the hard, busy work of the beavers.
We spend all our days in a world dressed in white, but when the earth turns to green I must go.
But I promise,my friends in this wondrous place,
I'll return for a visit next year.
